Yea .. I’m missing Canada. I haven’t been north of the border for a couple of years. Back before I needed a passport. Got the passport, but haven’t managed a northward trip for too long. Someday, before too long, I hope.

How a about coming over to the UK? Now you have a passport there is nothing stopping you. We can show you the sights and a pub or 2, all you now is to get here and bring ‘Double Share’.

Oh, oh, oh, oh! Can I tempt you to come to Canada! I’ll take you whale watching and show you those dolphins that Ish is connected to. My favourite dolphin is the world’s largest dolphin, orcinus orca, otherwise known as “orca”, “killer whale”. Every summer since 2003, we’ve journeyed to visit the Northern Resident orca population. This year is planned for Aug. 23 - 30. I know it might not fit into your schedule but you can go most anytime between late June and late Sept. and most be guaranteed of seeing them. And everytime you mention whelkies in your stories, I always think of the pebbles that line special beaches that the orcas use to rub against. They are smooth and satiny and evoke a feeling of connectedness to the world when you touch them.
