Just a note: your book Ravenwood is not easy to find. There is no obvious link to the download site. You may want to change that.

New text coming soon.

New audio coming sooner.

And thanks. I didn't realize that was visible (or in error) :)

@Max: The other books are in the pipeline. There's actually a post here with the production schedule on it but nobody seems to be able to find it so maybe I'll make it a page ... or perhaps add a big heading :) If it were a matter of proof-reading, the books would have been out in text form years ago. Unfortunately it's not, so bear with us as we work them through.

@Adam: That little blip at the end is something that Podiobooks adds and isn't part of the book at all. I can give you the transcript if you want but the last line of Half Share is "The lock cycled open and we got on with being spacers."

Hey there, I loved reading Quarter Share and am downloading the Half Share podcasts (I prefer reading but for something this good, I'm willing to listen too). I went to the iTunes store to download the Half Share podcasts but can't seem to get the last part ("Half Share - The End"). When I try to download it, I get the following error:

"Half Share - The End" cannot be played on this iPhone.

Any ideas? I'd hate to get to the last 2 minutes of what promises to be a fantastic story and then not be able to find out what happens.

Thanks for the great stories!

Hello,
I ran across Quarter Share on Amazon.com's Kindle store and loved it. I raced through it and eagerly went back to look for more. However, it looks like Half Share and the later books aren't available in any textual format. The audio isn't an option for me unfortunately. Am I correct that there is no textual version of the other books in the series for sale?

If it's a matter of not having enough proof-readers, I'm sure many of your fans, including myself, would love to help out. :)

I'm working hard to keep it out of cliche territory.

We'll know in a week or so whether or not i've succeeded.

I enjoy the ability to listen and/or read your works. Both methods of telling the story have excellent but different strengths in that telling. I am very interested in what will come with Owner's Share. It would be very interesting if the Ishmael had to struggle with his "don't screw with crew" rule keeping a real solid loving relationship from forming. On that edge of torture for Ishmael's rules and a deep abiding lasting love. It would also hope for him to start his own spacer family ship, maybe the start of a growing family line. It would be to easy for Ishmael, to remain a tragic character without a family and seeing his "Crew" as his only family. For that in the end, Ishmael could be a good father like he never had.
I never should post when I am tired, for I am at that point where rational comment is failing and it sounds like I am telling you to write your own book, all I ask is for it not to be a clichéd ending. That would hurt my heart after these collection of works being such a great joy to my heart.

The books have *just* started being released in text form. We're planning on putting them all out but it's going to take time to get them ready.

Half Share is due out in October, and I believe we're looking at Ravenwood before Christmas. Full Share is due in April 2011.
