The Crown Conspiracy

I left a more extensive post over at Lammas Wood, but I wanted to let people here know as well that the first of Michael J. Sullivan’s works that I’m producing in audio for Ridan Publishing is currently available at Podiobooks.com and the iTunes Music Store.

As I post this note, the last episode has been uploaded to the servers and the title should be marked complete as soon as that episode clears the quality control process.

This is significant for me — and by extension all of you — because it’s giving you all a taste of Mike’s work through my reading and giving his audiences a taste of my work as well. The intent is that the audiences will mix and mingle and, judging from the early comments, that’s already happening. This is good because it means larger audiences for Michael and me — and more content for each of you.

It’s also significant because it means Owner’s Share is now in the center of my plate.

Stand back. I’m going to start writing…

OK Focus, this is a test, and don’t make me come there and beat you, you know a could. Thats great news Sar, it means I have something to listen to while I’m waiting on you to get back to work on Owner’s Share. So turn two, spacer.

Another excellent reading, and a rather good story as well. I listen to a lot of audiobooks, most of them by professional narrators, and there are only a very small handful that equal Nate’s level of reading quality, pacing, and immersiveness

  3. I just wanted to drop by and thank Nathan publically, as I have so many times privately for lending his immense talent to this project. So far my writing in print and e-book formats has been very well received, and I’m so very pleased to be able to bring The Crown Conspiracy to a new format with someone as skilled as Nathan giving life to my printed words. I feel very much like I’m living in Nathan’s Quarter Share world where people are talented and generous. For those that don’t know…I’m doing the artwork for his print versions so I feel I can contribute a little to his success but it pales in comparison to what he has lent to mine. So once again, thank you Nate I’m eternally grateful.

    Sounds like it’s a win-win situation :)

don’t burn out your keyboard on the first day. :) I’m finishing up Weather Child by Phillipa Ballantine, but THe Crown Conspiracy is next!!!

I just finished listening to the Crown Conspiracy and it was a really great story. I’m not a huge fan of fantasy, but the Crown Conspiracy world was so well constructed and having Nathan Lowell narrate it made it impossible to put down.

Great reading and story. When will you read the remaining books?

  8. Nate says:

Avempartha is on my agenda for “right after Owner’s Share” so .. mid September-ish.

  9. Todd Newton says:

Really enjoyed the narration (and, of course, the book). Well done!

Hope to see you at MileHiCon!

At the rate you’re cranking out Owner’s Share, it should be finished by February…So unless your definition of “right after” is different from Webster’s, I’m guessing that date is being moved up a bit?

  11. Nate says:

Yeah- and that may get changed because of some decisions that Mike has to make here shortly.

Of course I figured to have Owner’s Share done by the beginning of September instead of the middle of December but a lot of things didn’t work out the way I planned this fall. I can’t say I’m disappointed in the results — other than I wish I had them sooner.

Although, if I had, then they might not have turned out so well … so. We soldier on.
