South Coast

South Coast Cover
Yes, it’s finally available in text. It’s up on Kindle, Kobo and Nook now. I have the paperback halfway done but I’m running out of time on the Trader’s Tales galleys so I need to focus on getting those marked up and out ASAP.

I haven’t forgotten the podcast of the second two Tanyth books, either. 🙂

  1. Awesome! That cover is great!

  2. Where did you get that cover Nathan? Who made it? I love it!

  3. The Captain says:

The cover art is from a UK artist named Steven Cousins.

    Thanks.

  4. David says:

    Got it!

  5. Sean says:

A good week – new books both you and Modesitt!

  6. Terry says:

Finally! Just reread the Solar Clipper Series last month. I’m so ready for this one. Any ideas about a future Ishmael book?

  7. The Captain says:

I have three new Ishmael books on the table for next year … and three new Solar Clipper books that aren’t Ishmael as well.

  8. Jonathan Bailey says:

    Captain,

Your Solar Clipper series just got a huge plug from Glenn Reynolds, the Instapundit.

Prepare for what is known as an Instalanche….. (It’s a good thing). And more sales.

  9. Steve says:

    Yay for more audiobooks!!

For me that is how i discovered your work and how i still want to consume it. 🙂

  10. Drew says:

Listening to Owner’s Share again. It’s still wonderful! Personally, in future editions I’m hoping to see some of the Loises again. In any event I’m glad to hear that Ishmael may be back with us…hopefully at your earliest convenience. 😛

  11. Pat Miller says:

I’m glad things have improved for you and good luck clearing out all the older-book reissues and most of all — I hope you get back to new writing!

I’ve been recommending the Solar Clipper series in all forms for several years since I discovered the podcasts some years ago. I’m hoping a South Coast sequel still happens some day.

But I’m mostly writing to ask if you’ve seen space news recently? Because this made me think of the Lois…..

Now we just need a Burleson drive!

    Cheers Captain!

  12. Kiwi Chris says:

    Just finished South Coast.
    Excellent writing!
Loved the story and the character development

  13. Sara says:

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your writing!!! I managed to go basically put my entire life aside and listened to every single one of your podcasts in less than a week and just ordered all the paperbacks I could find. I cannot wait for more Solar Clipper stories and am excited to see where South Coast goes. The thing I enjoyed the most about the podcasts is that I felt as if I were actually watching a TV show – the characters, locations, ships, etc were THAT vivid. THANK YOU so much for allowing me to share in your imagination – I cannot wait for more (and am secretly wondering when Ishmael is going to pop up in the South Coast series)!

  14. Adam says:

I hope you are doing well Captain. It has been awhile since you last posted on this website can you give us an update?

  15. The Captain says:

Sorry, Alex. I forgot that people don’t follow nathanlowell.com all the time.

    I’ve left an update.

    Thanks for prodding me. 😀
