    Hi Nathan,

I really enjoyed Quarter Share, as did my 11 year old daughter. We listened to the first Episode of Half Share today and it was the same wonderful style and narration that we loved in the first book! I will have to pre-listen for the PG content, I guess, before allowing her to hear the episodes but we have listened to QS three time right through and it was a joy every time, so I doubt it will be a chore!

You said it would be on Podibooks on Sunday, and now it is to be next Sunday, May 6? Can’t wait! I hope you are hard at work creating the third novel!

    Take care,
    Joan

  2. Nate says:

    Should be up today.

  3. Elizabeth says:

I just finished Half Share. I took Quarter Share along on my first try at lightweight backpacking, leaving the book home, and really enjoyed being read to at night! I admit I had to listen to some chapters several times, because I’d fall asleep, but that was because of a day well-hiked and not the story or the reading. I immediately paid (smile) and downloaded Half Share, for my next backpack, I said, but I just listened to the whole thing while still here at home- I couldn’t help myself! I doubt that Joan, the mom who first wrote, let her 11 year old daughter listen to the book- there sure would be a lot of suggestive descriptions and sexuality to explain- but it was an enjoyable listen. I have recommended your books to several people, I thank you for your good work, and wish you all success. Keep ’em coming!

  4. Nate says:

    Thanks, Elizabeth.

You’ve got a few hours of listening ahead of you yet :)

Captain’s Share is in the works but … not yet in production

  5. Sean says:

I just discovered Quarter Share on my brand-new Kindle. It’s terrific! When will the rest of the series be on there? I can’t wait to get them. Discovering a brand-new series is one of my great joys (yeah, it’s an empty life!).
Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

  6. Nate says:

Half Share is in the pipeline and due out in October.

    Glad you’ve enjoyed it.

  7. Dave says:

Just finished QS myself reading in chunks on my phone Kindle app…could not get enough of it (pissed my wife off as I thumbed through pages at supper), and am eagerly awaiting the Kindling of Half Share…status? It is October! :) Alas, my commute is too short for the podio! If only I had 30 days to the jump point to get through it!

  8. A R Hyde says:

Oct has come and gone–but Half Share hasn’t. Could we hope for it somewere in the near future!!

  9. Nate says:

Yes! I’ve just gotten the latest edits back from Ridan and they look good. I just need a couple of days to review them and (fingers crossed) we’ll be good to go.

    Should be out before Thanksgiving.

  10. Anthony says:

The second episode of Half Share on Podiobooks is corrupt. Can you upload a new copy?

  11. Nate says:

    It downloads fine for me.

    What are you getting?
