I liked the first one a lot better, but obviously its your call. What you have been doing works extremely well so far, so I think you should go with your own instincts.

Larry O’Gaff all the way! Remind yourself of the intro to Quarter Share. The singular sound of that opening set Ish on the path to greatness.

I prefer the Larry O’Gaff. The Great Big Sea sound reminds me more of a rural harvest faire. I picture hay wagons and piles of pumpkins and corn. The Larry O’Gaff makes me think of sailing clippers.

I loved great big sea. To me it just seems to have a more upbeat and optimistic feel to it.

This is one of those toss ups … the Larry O’Gaff is, perhaps, a more authentic sound and might be paced better for this book. The richer sound of Great Big Sea, and the additional instrumentation has its appeal, too. From the perspective of somebody being introduced to the universe for the first time with Double Share, I think it’s very accessible in a way that Larry O’Gaff might not be.

I prefer the Larry O’Gaff, I thought the sparser sound gave it a more melodic feel. But I am sure whatever you like is for the best

I prefer this one over Larry O’Gaff. It works well and won’t get too irritating to listen to.

Love it. The first one started a bit slow for me, but that fit’s it perfectly.
