Good points, Chris.

MAKING THE CUT will be running against DOUBLE SHARE, CAPTAIN'S SHARE, OWNER'S SHARE, and CAPE GRACE next year...

Assuming I can get my act together to finish them :D

Hey Quonundrum! I just wanted to point out that Metamor City and the Golden Age aren't actually competing in the Parsecs this year. Metamor City is up for Best Short Story ("Troubled Minds") and Best Anthology Series, while Nathan is competing for Best Long Form Fiction. The first Metamor City novel, MAKING THE CUT, won't be up for consideration until next year's Parsecs -- so don't worry, you can vote for both of us! :)

As for you, Nathan, good luck in the long form category!

Keep it on the bright side,

Hello Nate,

I agree with the others. I have just finished the present 'Share' series books and I don't recall a more satisfying story series! Don't misunderstand, I enjoy '7th Son', 'the Heaven Series', 'Metamor City', 'Morevi' and 'Chasing the Bard' among many others, but I don't think that they are in the same class as your works.

I wanted to offer my profound thanks to you for your works & raise my glass to the Lois and her crew.

I am very happy to hear that we will soon [I hope] hear about Double-Share! Outstanding!!

A fair wind and a following sea to you.

Hi Nate
Long time no comment but I'm still looking in on you when time allows.
Had to reply to your last comment. I have listened to Space Casey and Playing for Keeps and though I enjoyed Playing for Keeps, Space Casey did not a lot for me.
I think you have just as much chance of getting that shiny badge. Your a very modest guy and that's part of your charm.

I'm hopeful, but I doubt, seriously, that I've got much of a chance against Playing for Keeps, Space Casey, or any of the other more traditional titles.

I appreciate the thought tho, and there may be frost "down there" yet so I'll keep my fingers crossed :)

Nathen, I hope that you get a Snazzy Icon to put on your blog. :)
- - -
As for Full Feature Productions, it's just like "AWESOME" Graphics for a game that isn't fun to play, "Cool Video Effects" for a movie that otherwise sucked sucked sucked. If the story is GREAT, it will carry its self on it's own. As for a podcast. All this listener wants is to be able to hear what is being said. You have a good reading voice, you have an awesome Operating System, and I'm biased.

The worst thing that I can think of is, once in a while an episode or two could come out a little louder, in my opinion. But, if it bothers me enough, I run it through audacity and bring the levels up to my personal liking.

For me, I can relate to the story of your character, Ish, as he does things in his youth that I might have done. Arrogant and young. And at times foolish. Anyway. It's obvious that you're stunned at how the world has welcomed (devoured?) your content. When that wears off, and you're still a nice guy who's a sloppy dresser and down to earth, I'll relate to that too. As I too am no slave to fashion. And would like to think of myself as a nice guy. Long winded at times. :)

You earned this success.
