The nominations for Parsec Awards are open and all of my books that are eligible for this year’s awards have been nominated. I’m not sure what the process is this year, but if it follows last year’s, there’ll be a “list of 10″ which is winnowed down to a list of 5 “official nominees” who then get to put that snazzy badge on their blogs.
The competition this year is huge and I want to thank my fan club for the first stage nominations of Half Share, Full Share, and South Coast. They’re nominated in both “novel” and “audio production” categories. I’m going to guess that “simple and clean” aren’t going to win for audio production — especially with some of the full cast competition — but I’m gratified to be in there.

You folks are the best. I’m still breaking records on the numbers of comments and fan reactions on the Podiobooker blog and I just spent the last few minutes taking inspiration from all your kind words of support here.
Thanks for all of your support – financial, emotional, and inspirational. As long as you’re out there, I’ll keep writing.
